Distribution Boxes

As the name implies the main function of the distribution box is to evenly distribute the effluent from the septic tank to the leaching field.

The box can also be used as a visual inspection point to check the clarity of the effluent from the septic tank and as a convenient clean out section between the leach fields and the septic tank.

The design and number of outlets contribute to an even flow of the septic tank effluent to the leaching fields. All outlets are placed at the same level, generally three inches lower than the inlet thus providing an even flow to each section of the leaching field.

Boxes vary to accommodate various pipe sizes, as well as the number of legs or sections of the leaching field. Special requirements can be met for an individual design or heavy traffic load areas.
